Can't Wait For February!

Sooo excited that Angela is beginning to show a bigger tummy.

She had said early in her pregnancy that she was already too big for her regular clothes.
So she started wearing cute Lycra stretch pants. No official maternity clothes except her mother had just bought/sent her a black maternity dress which she loved and looked really cute in.

Imagine our joy in getting ready for another
Grandbaby Boy!

Boys are great!

So excited for Wy & Angela to get a little wrestler
like his daddy!

We can't hardly wait for February!

Anxious to buy a car seat.

It was a good excuse to FINALLY get one for MY car.

My issue was: Never knowing just the
"right one"
to get.

I started collecting
“Boy Stuff”
. . . since it’s hard to find
in the sea of
Cute GIRL STUFF . . .

which did not hurt my feelings cuz I love Boy Stuff!

This is what I have going:

A bib that says

My Daddy is My Hero

"Daddy’s Boy" & “Little Man” Socks

Camo pants, little camo fleece jacket, Fleece to make a hat & blanket

Baby toys & books, bottles...

Can’t wait for February….

Angela's accident 10/19/2010

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

Against our will and desires, our Heavenly Father chose to enfold Angela and baby Wylie into eternity . . . according to His plan and timetable . . . not ours.

In Gethsemane, Jesus said, "Oh my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done".

Having faith we believe Angela’s accident was our Heavenly Father's will.

(2Nephi 2:24). "All things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things".

With that said, losing Angela in our life here on Earth has been painful! The pain I feel is from my broken heart. I miss her!

I know time will help soften the pain . . . but time is passing so slowly!

I am not alone in my sorrow.

I know we are not the only family who has ever lost loved ones and that is comforting to be surrounded in their love, for they too know of that pain.
We have been blessed and comforted with the many cards,

family & friends concerns, and peace from the Holy Ghost.

I've have always loved the scripture: D&C 84:88
"I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."

And

D&C 101:14 "All they who have mourned shall be comforted".

Pondering these scriptures now means so much more to ME and I hold them close to my broken heart.

This Blog idea came because of a challenge from my friend Gail to write everything down. Which, I have resisted since the accident, because I'm not good at writing my thoughts & feelings but I'm doing it anyway. . . to honor Angela's life and our relationship. I am a better person because of her. . . . that's another story for another day. For now, I have mostly posted photo’s and will add more thoughts soon, I hope.
